Melio is an IIT-IIM alumnus initiative that conducts competitions for Speaking, Speed Math, Debating, Storytelling, Spelling Bee and more for students in Grade 1-12 from all over the world.
We were tasked with strategising their social/digital media portfolios and creating brand engagement through smart and comprehensive marketing techniques. We aimed at creating slick and eye-catching templates for the competitions, the same translated to winner certificates, announcements and website creatives.
From 5 to 350 participants in a span of just 2 months
Who said competitions can’t be fun? Well, we broke that stereotype.
From contacting relevant interest groups online to transforming the brand identity for the brand, we gave Melio the perfect all-round marketing boost to stand out in the saturated Ed-Tech segment.
Through our bespoke marketing plan, we also managed to raise the engagement of the brand from 5 to 350 participants per week in a span of 2 months. Participants poured in from places like Muscat, Dubai, Zurich, California, Sydney and Bangkok, making it a truly global offering.

Understanding user retention by creating an immersive experience
We expanded the visual identity into real-time pieces of execution. This was showcased in the bi-monthly Speed Math challenge through the use of the software OBS.
Each function was user controlled and the visual identity seamlessly lent itself to create an experience that was unique, scalable and eye-catching.
This made for better user engagement and a more immersive platform experience.
