AIMS : A modern school with a traditional approach

AIMS is a legacy institution, having more than 3 decades of building academic curriculums in South India. As part of their expansion, they are taking their wealth of experience and creating high schools with an international and global approach.

Creating this brand required us to maintain a certain tone of voice that was modern but approachable, inclusive but not preachy and long-lasting but not heritage.

Welcome to a new world

Think. There is no box.

The identity used extremely smart pieces of copy coupled with a very approachable but modern design sensibility. The fonts were all lower case indicating accessibility and a different approach to education. Retaining the tenets of traditional education, AIMS is looking to push the fold and create a long-lasting and sustainable system of education where students are encouraged to push the fold and discover their true interests.

We coupled the brand colours of purple and yellow with a an extremely vibrant geometric pattern that would also render itself really well in monochrome. All these elements came together to create a robust and dynamic visual identity.
