Samosa Party is Bangalore’s most popular samosa and chai restaurant chain, having stores in multiple prime locations such as Indiranagar, Koramangala and Embassy Tech Village. The brand approached us with an existing logo and we were tasked to expand the visual language to encompass store branding, packaging, digital media presence and offline marketing.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with Bangalore-based architecture house - Space Agency. This collaboration proved to be exciting and challenging, transforming the entire perception of Samosa Party in today’s ever-expanding homegrown food market.

The core principle was to create an identity that would be scalable and adaptable across all their locations, old and new. We took inspiration from the vibrant landscape of North India and looked at the festive colours of the region.

We further enhanced the entire proposition by crafting smart and well-executed pieces of copy that stemmed from real-time marketing by having cultural relevance across the country.

Simple designs often lead to the largest crowd engagements. This was the case with the takeaway cup designs that we made for the brand. Simple but relatable content meant that everyone had experienced a similar situation.

Samosas are so synonymous with Indian culture as being the go-to snack that creating content that would resonate with people meant that the brand would be instantly recognised through this simple phrase.
